CH 9- CURSED LIFE

TASHA'S POV

Life has always been too sweet with me by making my every living second worse than hell. I had never wanted to live a life which was given to me as charity.

I was blessed with a fate which I cursed forever. A girl abandoned by her own family. A servant of alpha with no dignity. I still didn’t know why I was alive and I didn’t care about it anymore as I died everyday. By the kindness alpha Diane showered on me by not letting out any opportunity to disgrace and taunt my blood, my life the happiest. Well, why shouldn’t she not? My own father had killed her husband and also gracefully abandoned me alone saving his first blood.

Alpha Diane used to shower me with love by honouring with all the works and tortures she could give me so that her heart could get a relied feeling of avenging her husbands death.

I couldn’t keep the record of the last time I had taken rest from the weight only shoulders when again I was showered with the hell bound duty of organising the triumph. Triumph, the only thing that I loathed like death. It was the core of what had turned my life f*****g insane. Now that it was back, I was going to get to forget what the meaning if rest was. Anyways, I was ready for it.

I was called my alpha Diana to her cabin, as usual to take out her frustrations on her personal servant. I was humiliated as ever and then was dumped with the duties and responsibilities of the securities and trainings of players of the games.

With the years of experience I had with organising it, It was a piece of cake for me. I made sure of all the main points to cover and delegated my work to all the betas and omegas making sure that even the slightest thing was taken utter care of. It’s obvious that I wasn’t eager to each a mouth full of curse from alpha. But I was struck to ground when an unpredictable thing and a grave mistake on security from my part ha happened.

Late night, I was as always waken up by the loud chattering by the late shift omega workers who were busy gossiping about something. I had a hard time getting a bit of rest from the works I was made to do in the day time and now these crazy people simply couldn’t keep their mouth shut and it seethed me.

It was with utmost difficulty that I had found some time to rest and came in one of the omegas bursting into my room howling my name.

“Tasha......there......senior Dylan” she was trying hard to speak but could get enough breath to and my heart fired up hearing the name Dylan. I woke up with a start and ran to his room to know what was the matter.

There were some pack members who were outside Dylan's room and I asked them what the matter was.

“senior Dylan was attacked by some hunters in the forest and was saved by a girl who is now in a critical state due to high dose of wolf bane” one of them informed me and I was struck hearing that an attack was made on Dylan.

I took a step back in my state and my body shuddered with guilt and pain for not being there for my mate. What if something had happened to him? How could I be so careless and let him out in the dark alone even when I was aware of the ferocious beasts who were ready to attack the pack.

I tried to go inside the room but was stopped by the guards who were ordered by alpha Diana to not let anyone in. I silently went to the window and took a peak inside to see Dylan.

I saw he was sitting besides a very young girl while a much wounded elder girl laid unconscious on the bed. I was relived to see Dylan all right and my heart got its beat again. I looked at the girl and wanted to thank her lots to for saving him. My eyes teared up and I was spotted by Dylan who said something to the girl and came out and met me.

He came to me and we had a moment of silence looking at each others eyes which had lots of concern for each other. Then I broke the silence and asked him.

“Are you all right?” I had my cold tone on not to let him feel the emotions and I concern I had for him. Ever since I had my first change and realised who my mate was, I used to anathematize moon goddess for adding up more disdain in my life by making Dylan my mate. I knew that alpha was never going to let that happen and hence I had never confessed to him and from there on I had never taken my wolf form.

Even if I had suppressed my feelings for him, I was always dead concerned for the only man who had ever taken stands against his mother when ever he saw her distracting me in the name of something that my family had did. He was a man who made my heart real and find happiness even when life was f****d up. His slightest stupidity was enough to make my heart flutter and keep on beating. Still I didn’t wanted to loose even the tiniest happiness I got from him by letting all especially alpha know he was my mate hence I always had my cold blood attitude on and behaved with him just like I did with alpha.

“I’m fine. Thanks to her who had risked her life taking the life threatening arrow on herself. If it wasn’t for her, then I would have been” he was about to say it and my body got out of control and my hands shushed him by hitting his mouth.

“don’t you dare” I blurted out and his moist eyes met mine boiling my mate senses to let go and kiss his soul out claiming his as mine forever. But coming back to my senses I felt embarrassed for blurting out and took my hands away from him.

“why? Did you feel anything?” his sound suddenly changed into something which was trying to get me to somewhere.

Was he trying to make me confess? Did he also know that I was his mate? I had tried my best to stay away from him do that he wouldn’t feel the same but was my efforts washed away? My body shivered in tension of upcoming thunders of heart breaks from losing my only peace pill Dylan.

“don’t think senseless things. If anything happens to you, your mother and alpha will again get a chance to make my life hell even if she has” I coldly replied and it broke my heart as I saw his face sulk into sorrow.

I sweared myself seeing that and came the call from alpha for me and I had waited for it when I had got to know about the attack. Dylan examined my face and understood what I was thinking and even when I stopped him from coming with me, he followed me to the alpha cabin and we together met alpha Diana.

“you useless girl of trash, how did you lose your focus on my son and let him get into such a big trouble” as soon as she saw my shadow, she began her high pitched scream at me and I stood like a statue hearing everything without any reaction.

“Stop it mother. It has nothing to do with her. I’m the sole person responsible for everything as I had tricked her and escaped into the arena. Stop yelling at her” my Dylan raised his voice and spoke against his mother only for me so that I was saved from the severe punishments she could give me.

I silently stood without interfering between them as it could have only resulted in a bigger war. Alpha diana had this look of utter seriousness against me and even want to end my story but as Dylan was present with me she held herself back.

“ how dare you speak to your mother for this trash Dylan” in my name she happened to shout on her son and both ended up arguing upon whose fault it was.

A wordily war broke out between the two as one argued in favour of me and the other against me. I couldn’t help but be flustered by the way Dylan fought with his own mother for me and then I drowned in guilt for easing up his civer and letting him out without any protection. I didn’t give my ears to listen to what aloha was saying on me and I just focused myself on Dylan.

Eventually, mother was overpowered by her son and she let me go and all I could do was to vow on my life that I would protect his life at all cost from there on and I was let with a warning.

After we came outside the cabin, Dylan patted on my shoulders and comforted me.

“dont worry. I won’t let you fall in trouble when I am here. Just don’t keep all this in mind and take a good rest and organise the games magnificently” he put on his bright smile and unknowingly my life turned into a smile and he was really happy seeing it and it was clearly visible on his face.

At that moment, I felt the luckiest mate on the planet as my mate was even ready to fight with his own mother and alpha for his mate. What else could I ever pray for.

After the incident, I was called by aloha Diana again who notified me that the security of the head quarter territory was to be tripled as brother Jayden was arriving from his hide.

I was dumbfounded hearing it and had no idea how I had to react to the news. That man was the only heir who was in track of the lycans and now he was going to come back without a prior notice. I nodded a yes and gave out all my works of games to the lack members and concentrated more on brothers arrival.

That was the day which I was the busiest in my entire life. Paperwork, security, preparations, room making etc. The day was full of activities that were for brother Jayden. None hadn’t seen or heard about him in years in fact, I couldn’t even remember any of our memories together even if we had any.

Everything was done perfectly as planned and told by the senior alpha who was my estranged grandfather and alpha Diana. Only they were they were aware about how and when brother would arrive. It was a top secret mission and arrived a black sub which was followed by hell lots of wolf’s of our packs.

There weren’t any other people around us than alpha, me, Dylan and the wolf’s around brother Jayden who himself had drone the car and can back home. He got out and a man in his 20s stood in front of us and my God, we was surely the best lycan in the whole among us.

Aloha Diana looked at me with a seemingless expression and I went forward to him and gave him a bouquet of flowers not at all looking at him as I wasn’t interested in making new relationships.

“welcome back brother jayden” I welcomed him in a bored tone and he smiled profoundly at me thought I didn’t act well with him.

“Tasha.....” he took my name and I looked at him stunned seeing him realise who I was but then my wolf senses began to feel something was not going to happen good ahead and I guess this arrival was going to shake the very head quarter territory and the games.....
