A note from the author to her dearest readers.
Hi ladies,
Cop To Mafia is not just another book of mine. In fact, it has always been my dream to come up with a kickass heroine who is always stronger than the male protagonist, a concept that will be highlighted in this book. This book is about the rebirth of a girl who was a cop in her last birth and then her body got swapped into the next heiress of a powerful Mafia family.
I hope I can always do the best I can to entertain my readers. Please follow the book and comment along. I adore your comments on everything related to the book and I try to reply to them as much as I can. As an author, that is the only thing I expect from my readers. I hope that you will support me in my efforts to ensure this book has an excellent outcome and, as a result, win the competition.
The plot of the story is unique and plagiarism or any kind of extraction is prohibited without any consent of the author.

PROLOGUE
“Tell me, why did you do it? Answer me!” I yelled, holding the gun with both my hands. Edie just lowered his head and remained silent.
“For f**k’s sake! Answer me before I blow your head off, Chief!” I pressed the muzzle tip of the gun to his skull.
The next thing I knew, I felt something pressing against my stomach. It didn’t take me more than a second to realize that Zane was pointing his gun to the side of my stomach.
“Point your gun here, Zane!” I moved his shaking hand from my stomach to the middle of my forehead as my hawk-like sharp eyes looked directly at him. He gulped nervously and soon beads of sweat started to pop up on his forehead. I was pretty sure that his throat went dry as well. He was so afraid that his shaking hand and fingers would pull on the trigger accidentally. Even his facial muscles started shaking with fear.
I smirked but I didn’t pull away from the gun which I was pointing towards his dad. As I scanned his trembling face, I could read his mind. He was struggling with his mind and heart, trying to decide if he should shoot me or not. He knew how fast I was and that the gun I was holding was like a toy for me.
In fact, I took a gun to my hand when other girls started to play with dolls. My obsession with guns was more overpowering than anything in my life.
“Cherry, I am warning you. Let my dad go. We can still talk about this.” It took guts for him to speak to me, but his voice was still laced with anxiousness. I pushed the muzzle tip of the gun right between the eyes of his father and gritted my teeth.
“Are you asking me to let go of my murderer? What will you do if I refuse to let him go, Zane? What will you do if I shoot him right here, right now?” I roared like a lioness hungry for her victim.
Time stopped for a moment. Our stiffened, tense bodies were glued to our positions and the sound of thumping hearts echoed in our ears.
What will happen next? Who will take the initiative of pulling the trigger first?
