The plane just landed. I waited impatiently for the flight attendant to tell me it was alright to go down the plane. I wanted to go home and see DJ as soon as possible, I missed my son so much but I missed his father too.
Just a few hours away from Devlin made me feel so dispirited and only his son could bring back the zest of life in me.
Although, anxiety stayed with me. Several opportunities occurred that I could have told Devlin about his son, however, I also sensed he wasn't ready for it.
It wasn’t the time yet. I could feel it in my gut. Devlin wasn’t ready yet for another bombshell.
We would take it slow, fixing our knots first, before I introduced another knot.
