Two weeks later...
"Baby, what are you doing? " Rafe asked as he sat next to me.
"What does it look like, I'm reading," I snapped. He growled, his eyes turning dangerously dark.
"I would appreciate if you would watch your tone," he hissed. I sighed and ignored him, concentrating on my book. My phone vibrated from where it was on my stomach and I blushed when I saw the name on the screen. Leo. I used to have a huge crush on him, but didn't want to ruin our friendship. I smiled and opened the message.
'Hey gorgeous! I'm having a party tonight! You coming?' I smiled broader and quickly typed out a reply.
'Sure. Where and what time?'
'My place, 9:30. You'll be there?'
'Yep, see you later.'
