Quinn’s eyes slowly fluttered open, the sunlight shining brightly into the bedroom. As Quinn shifted to stretch, she felt as if she was being held down. Quickly looking around herself, she saw an arm draped over her waist. Slowly turning her head, Jake was sleeping soundly behind her on the bed.
He had woken up earlier and saw Quinn sleeping on the floor. Jake had an idea that she must have been scared, so he carried her back to bed and cuddled her, making sure she felt safe.
