Weekends were almost simple. All the teenagers had chores. Some had to wash the laundry, some the dishes. One always had to clean and look after the animals, and one had to change the sheets. On rare occasions, like visitors weekends, those who were going to get parents and siblings coming in had to clean the tables and set up and help cook dinner.
