The pack house dining hall was overflowing with pack members, all ready to greet me and welcome me home. In truth, I was touched beyond measure at the love and well wishes the pack members extended to me. With me being gone for the past three weeks, the majority of the pack knew, or had heard rumors regarding Gavin being poisoned. Pa took the opportunity to explain that Gavin was extremely ill and that at this point his wolf wasn't present, and able to aid in his healing. Of course, all of that was true. His wolf wasn't present. At least not here in pack territory. So, technically, Pa was telling the truth. Just not all the truth. Pa asked the pack members to pray to the Goddess for Gavin's healing and restoration to full health. Of course, with any large group given limited information
