It was a long, slow drive back to Blood Moon Hybrid pack territory, especially as our convoy had to be extremely careful since dragons were on open flatbeds. Though after getting a look at those dragons that volunteered to do that, I had to snicker to myself. It was a good thing the motors of those trucks were as loud as they were. It drowned out the sound of the snores of the sleeping dragons. Finally, three and a half hours later, we arrived at the gates of the pack territory. Once the guards verified the identity of the vehicle occupants, the gates were thrown wide open to allow the convoy to enter. I was humbled to see the main road up to the pack house was lined with pack members ready to greet me, cheering at my safe return. Tears filled my eyes, and my heart swelled in gratitude f
