Shit, my mind was so messed up. I had started to sleep in the bed next to Trev, unable to find an argument against it. It was hard, lying there by his side a demilitarised zone between us before we went to sleep. At some point in the night though, that zone was crossed, and Trev would end up wrapped around me, or me laying on his chest. For a moment, just a moment, I would forget about reality and enjoy the feel of his strong arm around me or muscular chest below me, my wolf pushing against him, wanting to feel his hard body as well. But then, it would all come rushing back, the fact that Trev was not mine, the fact that I was alone in all this.
