I followed my father in his studies. I'm surprised when I see Lucas already there waiting for us. Father must have told him he needed to speak to him about something important. From the look on his face, I could tell that he had no idea what this was about.
I was nervous. I knew Lucas would not take this well. It was weird for me, so I could only imagine how it would feel for him.
"What is happening?" he asks with a concerned look on his face. He knew that any news my father had for him would not be good at all.
"As you know, your honeymoon with my daughter is upcoming. However, before that happens, there is something that the two of you must do. A ritual that's very important for your marriage." He informs him.
Lucas looks over at me before returning to gaze at my father.
