“You had a horrible way of showing it.” Lyra frowned at Brandon and deep down she felt delighted to see his cheeks turn red.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry about everything, Lyra. I really was just trying to do what was best for everyone. I didn’t think that things would turn out the way they did.” His eyes were suddenly filled with sadness and Lyra sighed.
