“Ms Black I feel you should know, that my son is destined for great things, and well, you are not part of my plan for his life” he said coldly, my wolf growled, how dare he try and keep us from our mate she cried.
“Mr Knight, please do not make the mistake of insulting me, nor make the error of misjudging your son, we are not in the middle ages sir and he can choose his own path” my voice just as cold, I held his glare, using all of my alpha gene to make this man squirm and feel so uncomfortable as he was trying to do so with me, I felt him stiffen, as we danced, and his face looked almost uncomfortable, which appeased the beast inside me in some small way.
“I can see why he is intrigued by you, but he has a duty to his family, and you will not gain what you desire”
