Hali’s POV
I stare at the receiver in my hand uncertainly, why had Gage taken over the call all of a sudden. I slowly scroll through my contacts, finding the other realtor’s number and press dial, shoving away my confusion, it doesn’t matter, they want the offices.
‘Hello, Diamond Realtors where we find the perfect home to fit your family, Carlos speaking’ comes the familiar voice a few seconds later.
‘Carlos, it’s Hali’ I say warmly, hearing the man chuckle at the other end.
‘Hali, that was fast, I only just hung up from you’ he replies.
I laugh, ‘well my clients are really happy and they want to get the ball rolling at that building off the market’ I tell him.
‘Brilliant, I’ll pull it down now and let the seller know’ Carlos says happily, no doubt seeing the same dollar signs that
