We all stood there, dumbfounded, with our mouths hung open, looking at the Moon Goddess that appeared before us; no one said a word because we were all in shock. The guards that were doing the cleanup had also stopped what they were doing. There was a sense of calm in her presence, and it was a breath of fresh air we all needed after tonight.
“Hmm, why are you all so quiet?” Selene asked as she chuckled. Still, no one said anything. “Okay, how about I start?” She walked over to Vance and me, and smiled lovingly, “You two are finally together. I have been waiting for a very long time for this moment. Oh, my heavens, I’m so happy to see you both together!” She exclaimed and cupped both of our cheeks.
