Brad was left in his car speechless. He couldn’t wrap his head around what the girl had said to him. It was impossible. There was no such thing as werewolves or any other supernatural. He jumped out of the car and went after the girl before she got too far.
“Hey, you!” Brad shouted as he spotted the girl at the crosswalk. She turned around and rolled her eyes at him.
“What do you want?”
“Tell me more about… you know,”
“I told you what you needed to know.”
“Where are you going? I’ll take you wherever you need to go.” Brad stated, desperately trying whatever he needed to do to get the girl to come with him.
“You’re not from here, are you?” she asked. “What’s your name?”
“Brad. And yours?”
“Melanie. I’m staying at a motel a few miles away from here.”
