Tori’s sudden outburst towards Gavin had him shaking in his boots. He tried to hide his nervousness, but Sylvester was eyeing him like a hawk. Gavin knew he couldn’t let them see him break a sweat, so he had put on his game face. He explained to Tori what he had explained to the Alpha prior to her waking up, and although she wanted to bombard him with questions, they didn’t have the luxury of doing so. Kat was still unconscious, and they needed to go to the pack’s hospital immediately.
