Berkley's POV
I plopped down at our usual table at the restaurant. I was meeting the girls here this morning. It had been a while since the three of us had been able to meet up and I needed this. I had missed my time with them. I knew I had closed myself off from them, but I needed some time and I now feel ready to get back to regular life.
"Girl, I have missed you." Mila said as she threw herself into the booth across from me. She can be so dramatic sometimes, but I love her.
"I know. I'm sorry I just needed time but I'm feeling better and ready to get back to real life."
