(Cassie POV)
My reunion with my wolf would have to be held for a bit because I had just reached Jacksons office. It was time to have words with my future “King”. Without stopping I threw the door open and stormed in.
Jackson looked up in anger ready to chew out who had dared to disturb him, but as he saw me his eyes softened and he smiled.
“Cassie sweetheart, what are you doing here?” he said heading round the his desk towards me “I am sorry I didn’t get back last night, I got caught up in-”
“Julia?” I interrupted, and glared at him. He glanced at Parker behind me and let out a nervous laugh.
“What’s going on sweetheart?” he tried to pull me into his arms and I stepped back away from him.
“You were with Julia last night” I said and he looked at me in shock “You let her get hurt”
