(Cassie’s POV)
I sat up in bed and looked around. It was still early morning, and the sun was still rising. I decided that I wasn’t going to sleep anymore and pulled myself out of bed. I was surprised and relieved to see Julia and Parker both asleep on the sofa. Julia was curled into Parker’s chest, and his arm was around her. They both looked peaceful. I smiled and wandered into the dressing room.
I knew that Jackson said I was confined in my room, but I never really listened to authority at the best of times, and well… these weren’t even close to that. I put on my workout shorts and top and pulled my hair into a high ponytail. Armed with a towel, water and my headphones, I headed towards the door.
