"Damnit it, Atasha! Sagutin mo ako. Are you taking a contraceptive pill? Is this the reason why I didn't get you pregnant?"
I could see the anger in his eyes. It instilled a deep fear within me. I felt like I was sitting on an electric chair, about to be electrocuted by the intensity of his glare.
"Yes, but---Sancho, please, let me explain! Ang gamot na yan ay-----"
"Explain? Anong ipaliwanag mo, Atasha? That you've just been deceiving me. Making me believe that you, like me, were eager to conceive, that you yearned for a child too. All along, you've just been deceiving me, Atasha. Is that the explanation you want to give?"
His gaze pierced me, further weakening my resolve. It felt like I was being stabbed with a knife because of its sharpness.
