Time goes by as Lyn slowly gains consciousness after a quite long travel through time and space. The first thing that she saw was the unfamiliar white ceiling. It was clean and plain which is unusual to her since their house is not that clean and there are no cracks in every corner. She was fine now and she didn’t even feel dizzy anymore. At first, she thought that she was still dreaming because everything is not familiar to her.
It was cold but at the same time, it was quite warm. The temperature and atmosphere here are different from what she used to feel. Lyn’s first instinct was to find out what time it was so her eyes roamed around the room to find a window or a wide wall where a clock could be hanging. Unfortunately, she didn’t find any clock since every side was full of curtains. It was like she was in an empty room without anything aside from the bed where she was sleeping earlier.
“Where are they?” asked Lyn to herself as her foot slowly touched the cold floor so she could go and see what was behind those massive curtains.
As she opened one of the curtains from her left portion, she saw a room with a lot of glasses and mirrors. It looks like a never-ending maze. Her reflections were all synchronous as she looked at each side but something caught her attention. The reflection of hers from her other side is not synchronous and it was odd so she looked and stared at it. Lyn didn’t move so she could see if her reflection would move.
A sudden growl came from the right side of the room so she looked at that side. As she looked back from where the odd reflection of her was, she noticed that it was gone and all she could see was a white wall. Lyn couldn’t go near the wall and touch it since there is a boundary which is glass. She doesn’t have any clue about this room full of glass and mirrors so she tried to explore more.
“The glass feels like it would break anytime,” she wondered since it looked so thin.
She touched every glass so she would know if it is a glass or a way through the never-ending maze. Those fingerprints of hers were left on the glass as she touched it. After a minute passed by, she was close to giving up and looked at the other side of the room but then her hand didn’t touch the glass which means that this was the way in the never-ending maze. She tried to clench her fist and she slightly punched the brittle glass.
Instead of shattered glass, an electrical reaction came out from the glass as her hand met the unusual glass. The electrical reaction passed and traveled in her arm through the top of her body. Memories that she hasn't experienced yet were remembered by Lyn but she forgot it easily but she knows that it was a memory because it flashed in front of her eyes like her dream was summarizing it.
“Enjo?” she called his name as she saw Enjo’s silhouette on the wall from where she found her odd reflection.
It looks like Enjo was hiding from her because as soon as she saw his silhouette, he immediately ran away and his silhouette was nowhere to be found but even though she doesn’t have a clue where the way is to that place where she was her odd reflection and his silhouette.
Lyn started to walk towards it and she tried to find a way to get there because it looks like there is a way to get out of this maze. She touched every glass to have a guide if there is a way or if it is a glass. In every walk she did, Lyn always bumped into the glass. She looked so desperate so she finally gave up and she decided to go back from where she was. She had a hard time finding her way back since she was not good at memorizing directions.
As soon as she found her way back, she looked for a window because she felt exhausted and she lacked breathing since Lyn was nervous if she could find her way back away from the glass and mirror maze or not. She pushed the massive curtain that serves as the barrier between the room from where she was before and the room of the maze. The curtain was tall and it was hanging from the high ceiling of the room.
“Oh yeah, there’s no way she would try to go there even though she’s really curious about it,” someone said that caught Lyn’s attention.
She looked at them as soon as she heard what they said. Lyn saw Enjo and Benji coming out from the maze. They were both shocked and it seems like they were having a conversation. Their actions and emotions were really unusual for Lyn because everything doesn’t seem right. Lyn’s nervousness suddenly disappeared as nothing happened.
“I have a lot of questions,” said Lyn curiously while her left eyebrow was raised.
“Now, you go answer that,” Enjo said to his brother as he stepped backward to push Benji a little closer to Lyn to explain what they did.
They were currently inside the room where Lyn was earlier. Lyn was about to go to the other side but then the two boys messed up the calculations of time and space. They were supposed to go to a different timeline and place but they end up teleporting to the time when Lyn was still inside of this strange room.
“It was your mistake!” shouted Benji to Enjo as he also stepped back and pushed his brother forward.
“Lower down your voice,” said Enjo calmly because they might be heard by their mother.
The two boys were supposed to be in school now but they decided to cut classes so they could enjoy their time experimenting and mastering how to teleport. Even though they already successfully went to another world to meet Lyn, they still have to learn more about it since they always messed up.
“Enjo, you were responsible for the time,” said Benji back calmly to mimic his brother as he dramatically blinked his eyes like he was a nice person.
“And you’re responsible for teleporting,” replied Enjo to him seriously with a blank face.
“At least they didn’t see each other,” Benji said to his brother with confidence.
“Who?” asked Lyn, who was still confused about the situation.
