I sighed as I took in my Alpha’s words, but knew I had to listen to him right now and so, I did as I was told. And therefore, I forced myself to walk over towards the front door with every intention of leaving this place. But looking over at Taylor one last time and seeing the pain in her eyes over me leaving right now without any explanation on my part really, it f*****g pulled my heart to shreds. And so, I made a last-minute decision. Because I walked over to her instead of the front door, I stepped right into her personal space, I held the back of her neck and I leaned in and I pressed my lips against hers because, f**k… how on earth could I ever leave her without giving her a kiss goodbye?
