Zander led Chloe into the dining room, his hand in hers, as they made their way to the top table reserved for the Alpha and leadership team. Chloe moved to sit on the chair next to him, only to have a possessive growl escape from her mate, as he placed her on his lap.
Pack members began to filter into the large room that was filled with long tables to ensure everyone had a seat who required it. Some of the pack ate at home. Especially if they lived in the 'mated' cottages that were dotted around the grounds, others chose to eat at the pack house, saving them time before continuing their pack duties or training.
