After ending the call with her parents before her mate totally lost his cool, Chloe sat back on the large bed, Zander wrapped her in his arms.
“I feel sleepy” Chloe sighed, letting out a big yawn.
“You should rest, I will send for Nicki, and have Lacey bring you some washing supplies, so you can both shower. I know you have a lot of questions, and I promise you I will answer them all in due time, but the adrenaline rush is wearing off, and you are not going to be able to take it all in.”
Zander smoothed her hair gently as Chloe’s eyes grew heavy.
