"Leave the room first." an echo of words hit the back of my mind, "I do not want you here right now." "You are a f*****g i***t!" another voice shouted, "bringing this betrayer in our house? Are you f*****g shitting me?" I had started to come awake, the drowsiness slipping into a dark corner as I tried to make sense of who was there and what they were saying. "It is my home too." the man shouted angrily, "what happened to me has nothing to do with you!" "You big f**k! If it had not been for us being the royals you would not have been standing alive in front of me right now. The society's decision was taken back at the end moment because of the interjection of the old rules that I pulled out and shoved in their faces! You would not be standing alive here if it was not for me!" I struggled to open my eyes but the words were not empty echo anymore. They were clear and I was starting to understand what they were talking about. "f**k YOU!" I heard Elijah hiss in a seething voice, "I did not ask you to do anything for me. Don't come here claiming to be a savior of my life if you can not respect the decisions I make in it." My eyes opened slowly, blinking away the bright harshness that hit them before adjusting to it. At the end of my bed, I found Elijah and Zeke standing in front of each other, their bodies tout in tension and faces showing the look of fury. They had not realized that I had come awake. But I had realized that they were fighting because of me. As I tried to remember the last thing that had happened, and look around me, worry hit me as I realized I was in Elijah's room. When I was trying to gauge my surroundings and trying to remember the last thing that had happened to have me end up in Elijah's house again, I did not realize that the room had gone quiet. As my roaming eyes slid past Elijah and Zeke, they came back to them in a flash as I found their gazes stuck on me. "Get the hell out of here right now." Elijah said in a deathly calm tone with a shove on Zeke's chest. Realizing I was the cause of the fight between both of them, I pushed my hand on the bed, supporting my body up, and tried to get out of the bed, "I will leave right away," my voice came out croaky and unstable, "don't fight. I am... leaving." "Ally, get back in bed!" Elijah gritted and stormed over to me, flipping the covers back on my legs and sliding my legs underneath, "you are not going anywhere for now." "I am." I insisted. My head was throbbing for some reason, like a hammer getting hit on my head again and again, "I should not be here. I don't want to." My eyes shot to Zeke who scoffed at me and looked away. Well, I was feeling extremely insulted each moment that was passing by in this house, to say the least. "Zeke, get the hell out of here right f*****g now." Elijah snapped at Zeke while his hands kept my legs pinned to the bed so I could not move. Zeke's gaze came back to Elijah as he shouted furiously, "She f*****g left you to die! What the f**k is wrong with you? She is better off dead!" The words had barely left Zeke's mouth before he was slammed against the wall, his back hitting the wall in a loud bam while Elijah's one hand wrapped around his throat and the other hand clenched into a fist and pummeled into Zeke's face three times repeatedly until there was a b****y mess dripping into his shirt and on Elijah's hand. "You stand in front of me uttering this useless bullshit one more second, you and I are going to have a serious problem, Zeke." Zeke did not fight back. His hand grabbed Elijah's wrist and threw it off his neck. His infuriated gaze found my worried one before storming out of the room. "Move." I ordered, the mere words put a strain on my throat and I started coughing. My hand shot up to my head as sharp pain blinded me. Then I realized I had a bandage wrapped around my forehead. "What is..." I started to speak but Elijah interrupted me. "Lie down." His hands came to my shoulders pushing me, "you are in no condition to go anywhere. " "It is no big deal." I spoke in the lowest voice possible to not put strain on my voice, "just a bump in head is not going to kill me. Move. I do not want to be here." A muscle in Elijah's jaw jumped visibly as his gaze turned dark, "a f*****g bump in the head does not put a person to sleep for ten whole day, Ally," My eyes shot up to meet his in shock while he continued, "you have barely woken up from that accident and you already think you know better than everyone else." "T... ten days?" I stammered, flabbergasted. Elijah clenched his eyes shut as he shook his head a little while a heavy sigh left his mouth. This time when he opened his eyes there was a softness in them instead of anger. His hand lifted up to rest on the side of my face while his head descended down and dropped on mine ever so softly, "You made me age ten years in ten days, Ally." His hot breath fell upon my lips as he whispered, "why are you so hell bent on driving me mad?"
