It's been over seven months, and alpha Carter still could not find the woman that the scent belonged to. He felt like he was going crazy as he stepped into his office,he suddenly had a small flashback of a woman standing there smiling at him, he first thought it was Cindy, by when he looked again it wasn't her, It was a woman that had shoulder length blonde hair, her eyes were a dark green and that smile could make your heart melt, he blinked again and she was gone. But he still smelled that scent. He sat at his desk and pulled up all the females that were in his pack, he was determined to find who belonged to the scent, right when he was looking at the names and linking each one, his daughter came running into the office. I saw this woman in my room, she was sitting In a chair and holding a book like she was reading to me, she was real pretty daddy, And she seemed so nice, Carter just shook his head, honey I think someone is just pranking us, we'll find out soon who it is, he hugged her tightly. Brask hadn't seen Van all day, she knew she was up in her room, so she decided to go see her. Hoping to cheer her up. She knocked on her door then opened it slowly she saw Van curled up in a ball in her bed, walking over sitting on the edge of the bed, she nudged her softly, "Van honey are you okay?" She shook her head no, "what's wrong? You know you can talk to me," it's nothing Bask, I just miss him, I tried not to think about Alpha Carter, I tried not to. But I miss him," Bask had a idea, come on we're going somewhere, Van sighed fine, it better be good, they left the house, and drove the few hours to Alpha Carter's house, they parked the car a ways from his pack, they took their clothes off, come on we're shifting, were going to see where he is at, so you can see him, they shifted into their wolves and ran for a few minutes, when they got to a spot where they can be hidden, they watched for a few minutes, after thirty minutes went by. They actually saw him come out, he had Julie with him, they were heading somewhere, but Van heart was beating fast, she had missed him so much, but it took all she had not to run to him, instead she ran off back to the car, Brask ran after her,
They shifted back putting back on their clothes getting back into the car, they drove away from his pack house, when Bask thought they were far enough away she pulled over and listened to Van cry, she pulled her over to her and hugged her tightly. "it's going to be okay Van, it's going to be just fine I promise." After she was done crying, she started the car and starts back driving toward there home,
Alpha Carter pov
Julie wanted to go outside to play, so I took a little time to go outside with her, They were walking around and was watching her run to the flower garden to smell the flowers, she always loved to smell them there was so many he walked over to her smiling, she was just so much like her mother and alot like him. When he reached her, he saw movement in the bushes of the forest, that's when he smelled the scent once more, he call over a guard to watch Julie as he ran over to the woods, but it was to late who ever was there was already gone, but the scent was there, and strong, who was this female trying to do to him,? He went into the woods to look around and he followed the paw prints all the way to the edge of his territory, that's when he saw the car speed off, whoever she is, she needs to face him to tell him why she is doing this, why would she come and leave him, he sighed as he headed back to the pack house, whoever she is that girl is his second chance mate, hopefully she will have the guts to face him one day,
