Alpha Carter,

It was time for me to get ready. I stalled so I wouldn't get there to early, I got dressed in a black suit, I didn't want to be to fancy, I didn't want to catch the eye of a good digging b***h that will pretend she thinks we are mates, I put my hair in a ponytail, put my shoes on and I was done, I walked downstairs were the unmated wolves were waiting, "listen guys, I know some of you might find your mates tonight, and some probably won't, but don't be discouraged, you can always pick a chosen mate, I know some of you will probably be leaving the pack and some of you that will stay. To those that will be leaving, you will be highly missed,, now there are rules in alpha Ron's pack, be respectful, no trying to take other mates away, look for your own mate, and do not try and start fights, remember a few years ago when I had to do this and several fights broke out because a she wolf was mates to two males, she didn't like the fighting and she rejected both of them, she found her second chance mate the second night, even though she wasn't looking he found her, alright are we already?" They all said "yes alpha," they walked out the door and got into three SUVs, and drove to alpha Ron's pack,

Casey and Ryan's pov

We were dancing to the music as I kept an eye out for Van she saw her standing with a glass of wine in her hand, she looked like she was having fun but Casey knew she was bored and really didn't want to be there, she couldn't help but think how beautiful she looked , "a penny for your thoughts Ryan had said,'' she smiled as she looked up at him, "I'm sorry i was just watching Van, she looks so beautiful tonight, I think this is the first time I seen her all dressed up," "well let's just hope that Alpha Carter shows up, I honestly feel that she's going to hide until he leaves," Casey giggled, babe, you can't hide from your mate if you remember he will smell her scent and follow it until he finds her, he chuckled, yes I do remember, I remember you got mad at me and hid from me, a few minutes later and found you, I picked you up over my shoulders and brought you right back to our room," he heard Casey giggle, "yeah I remember," they started to dance a slow dance as a slow song came on, Bask and Guss walked Into the ball room, hand and hand, Van looked over with a disappointed look on her face, there have been a few males that came over to chat with her, but when they felt no connection, they said their goodbyes and went on their way. She knew that the Raven moon pack, the Black bear pack and the River moon pack was here, but Alpha Carter wasn't here yet. She wondered if she was here for no reason, so she decided she was going to get a small plate of food and sit down to eat. When she got the food she went to sit down at a table near the exit, because after she eats she was going to leave and go back up to her room, she set there eating , when she was done she picked her plate up and threw it away, she felt disappointed that she didn't get to see Alpha Carter, she was about to head toward the exit when suddenly one of the guards announced that The Gold moon pack had arrived, she stood there frozen, did she just heard him right, The Gold Moon pack just gotten there, 

She didn't know what to do, she wasn't ready to see him, and the exit was to far away, she sighed as she made her way toward the exit door, just as his pack started to come through the entrance, just as she got to the exit, alpha Carter came through stopping her in her tracks, she smell his scent pine and mint, she tried not to look at him as she kept her eyes down toward the floor, she heard him speak, "look at me mate.
