The tea I drank is potent, that’s for sure. I wanted to laugh when she told me that she was going to give me some tea and it was going to put me under. I mean, tea, really?! It was not an exaggeration, that I can attest to.
The minute I was under was unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. There was absolutely nothing. Darkness surrounded me, but it was inky. It felt like it could suffocate me like it had a life of its own. There was no sound or indication that there would be any way out of it.
I have no idea how long I stayed in that dark place. There was no way to keep track of time or comings and goings. A blue light was cast on me at one point, but it didn’t last long. It also showed me what I already knew to be: darkness was all around. When the light appeared again
