I have a seat at my desk, and Kelvin takes his spot next to me. William and Jeff are seated across from me. Jeff claps and rubs his hands together. “Let’s get these details hammered out. The Moon Goddess has blessed us with this union, so we don’t want to disappoint her.” Kelvin huffs and Jeff’s face scrunches up in contempt. “You have something you want to say, boy?”
“I just find it funny that you are trying to credit your Moon Goddess with a union you have clearly orchestrated. You are holding my Alpha and our pack hostage until you get what you want. I highly doubt the Moon Goddess is okay with that behavior.”
“You watch your tongue, boy. You will not speak of our Goddess like that in front of me.” Kelvin scoffs again, and I fight the burning urge to roll my eyes.
