I groan, trying to open my eyes. I move my body, but I’m sore all over. I notice my arms and legs are restrained. FU.CK! What the hell happened last night? This shouldn’t have happened so soon after the last time. What the hell is going on with me right now?
I hear metal jingling, and my cell door slides open. It doesn’t take long for Kelvin to step into my line of sight, his arms crossed over his chest. “What the hell, Meena?” I close my eyes and sigh.
“I don’t know. I don’t know what happened. I can’t talk to Raven until I get out of here.” Kelvin sighs and walks over to me, undoing my restraints. I grab his arm so he can help me get on my feet.
