I wanted nothing more than to talk to my found mate, and I also wanted to find Jasmine. I could do neither of those things as I climbed the steps toward my Alpha's office. Right now, I have to be the Beta of the pack, and all personal issues will be pushed to the side.
I arrive in the office to see Meena, Karver, Thayne, and the spokesperson. Everyone else has gone back to their group. I pull a chair by the door and get settled. I like to make sure I have control over the office's entryway when we have meetings like this.
I watch as everyone gets settled around Meena's desk: Meena sits at her desk with Karver standing next to her, Thayne standing off to the side, and the spokesperson sitting across from Meena. “How about we start with your name?”
