Sawyer looked over at him, a small smiling playing on her lips. Those green eyes were vibrant and a stunning mossy green. Her hair had dried after they washed the blood off themselves and those red locks curled wildly in her bun. He hadn’t noticed the freckles that spread across her nose and cheeks. He liked them. “Shall we resume?” Quinn asked and she closed her grassy eyes. “The game, I mean.” His body ached and his head throbbed, he didn’t feel like walking. Sawyer pulled out her phone and bit her lip. “No service,” she said. “It’s almost dead too.” She put it back and looked at him.
