Chapter 4 Wynn woke with a start from a deep sleep, wondering for a moment where the hell he was. Then he remembered both where and why. The ‘where’ he could deal with, although he had to do something about finding transportation out of Blue Creek. With luck there was a used-car dealership somewhere in the small town—or at least someone who had anything, even an old beater they’d be willing to sell him.
