Chapter Five “Well…here we go,” Barbara said nervously. Behind them, the heavy metal gate clanged shut, making her jump. laughed. She herself was more pumped up than nervous. There was a belt of fifty feet of open space between them and the forest, and she scanned the trees alertly. Somewhere out there were at least four groups of hunters, plus a number of lone individuals, all seeking female prey. Behind her, faintly, she could still hear splashing and laughing from the hotel pool. She doubted that any of the hunters would be lurking so close to civilization, but why take chances?
