Ling pov
I knew this woman would be at the house soon, i was the only one that was left in my old pack, after our alpha died no one wanted to pick a new alpha so we decided to go on our own ways, i decided with serval others to stay in Tenneesee and hopes that the one man and woman would come back one day maybe he would change his mind and becoming alpha of our old pack, we still lived on the old land and we had a huge gate around so noone could get into the land to try and challenge us for it, when she got out of the truck she looked so much like the man i once knew it just couldn’t be but once they got out of the other truck, i knew it was them, i almost bowed my head to them but they shook there heads no, so i didn’t, her father stood on her right side her mother stood on her left side a sign of protection, i understood competely that wanted to make sure there daughter will be safe and i nodded yes, when we were done with looking at the house, they wanted to talk to me along, i was a little nervous, but why should i they are on my land not the other way around, but Aaron was a man of power and Tally i knew she was as well, we walked toward thier truck out of ear shot and he spoke with a power,
‘Ling, what are you doing here, I thought when the old alpha died we all agreed to scatter out of here?”
“I know Aaron but a few of us decided to stay, we are still living in the old pack house, we have gates up so no one can get inside to try and challenge us for our land, i know if the old members know you are back they will want you as alpha, like before, we are all loyal Tally,” i heard them both sigh,
“Listen, we will come, our daughter is now here, so why not we just have to be careful that's all, the werewolf gene stopped with her, so she is human as far as we know, she has heard stories of us, but thats all, just stories, so keep it that way, give her the house, but also make her pay rent some rent that way she doesn’t start to wonder,” Tally had said,
“fine, fine, i will call the others to come back home, i bet once they find out they will be here withthin hours.”
“tell them we will be there as soon as we are done with our daughter, we have to go help her buy things for the house and after that we will be there alright. if they all approve of me being alpha and my mate being luna then i will be alpha she will be luna, they all agreed to this, i turned my back and headed toward Della, and shook her head,
‘Congratulations you have yourself a house, rent is only three hundred a month do you think you can afford it?” i watched her eyes go wide with joy,
“YES! YES! i can afford it thank you so much Ling,” the girl hugged me tightly, and i could smell her wolf, her wolf is locked behind a mental wall, and she can’t break it down, good i thought, it's better that way, we shook hands on it, i left her with her parents, as i linked the rest of the pack while i was driving home, when i got home everything was set to go, i hurried to clean the office and everything else,
Aaron pov
when we first hit Tennessee me and Tally was talking this can’t be happening, when the rogue attack many years ago killed our alpha, we all decided to go different ways, we weren't even sure if anyone was still around, but i knew we needed to protect our daughter, once we stopped at the house we both got out and i knew right away who the landlord was so did Tally, it was her best friend, but we couldn't say we knew each other then Della would know that she got this house because of us, so we went through the house and i knew i had to buy her a bedroom suit and a living room suit with everything for the kitchen, i didn't mind, this was my daughter i would do anything for my child even move back to Tennessee to make sure she will be okay, we talked too Ling for a few minutes then she left i knew she would link the pack right away, so We took Della shopping got her a new bedroom suit and a living room suit with the hole kitchen set with matching pots and pans with ovenmits we even got her a new dining room table. next we went to the Grocery store to get her groceries. then next is bed bath and beyound were we got her towels and everything she needed for her bathroom, she was all set, we got her to her house and unloaded the groceries and everything we got from the bath store, i knew we needed to head out back to the old pack,
‘Listen honey, we are heading out before it gets to late, the truck will be here in an hour to unload your bedroom and living room, remember to call us every other day, we hugged her tightly told her we were so proud of her and then left, i looked at my mate Tally
“I think it's time i do this Alpha thing, I know we have a lot to build but i think its time.” she agreed so we headed toward the old pack house,
five years later
Della pov
holy s**t i was loving being on my own everything was so different now, for five years now i have been working, paying rent, bills. doing things on my own, and everything that i needed to do with my life, i call my parents like i promised every other day, people say i needed a dog to protect me during the night, i thought that was stupid, there was nothing out here but animals they were here first before i was, i was bascially on their land, i went to work that day the boss said he wanted to see me, i sometimes forget his name so i have to look on the door before i even go inside, thats right Con, his name is Con, i been working here for five years and i still forget his name, well its because we never really talk, he only calls me in his office when he needs something, today he needed me to take notes about a clinet of his, his name was Gary and he was working on this babyfood chain, so i walked into his office with my clipboard and paper ready to take notes for him, to my surprise i walked in there he was on the phone, he held up his hand to tell me to hold on for a minute, he seemed like he was angry,
“Fine Fine, Jannie, i will handle it when i get back home, whatever my wife did i will handle so calm down, I am sure it’s not that bad.’ he listened for a few minutes and then i could had sworn his eyes turned black but that could be just my head playing tricks on me,
‘SHE f*****g DID WHAT??!!!” I jumped when he yelled but set there waiting for him to finish the call, when he was done, he slammed the phone down and looked over at me,
“Della i called you in here today to tell you since you been working in my building for five years, you are never late, and you stay late, don’t you have a life, don’t answer that right now, what i am saying that i need you on the baby food chain, i want you to set up a meeting with this man Gary, make it known to him very clearly that you will not take no for an answer, we are offering him fifty million for his baby food company, i got all the paperwork right here, the reason why i'm giving you this because i need to take a few days off, i’m trusting you with my company do not fail me Della is that clear?” i was f*****g shocked when he told me he was giving me the babyfood chain, if we get this we will have more money then anyone could ever count, fifty million was nothing to this man because he has bussniess everywhere, the first words that came out of my mouth was,
“Hell yes Mr Con, i will get this done for you, you do not have to worry one bit,” he nodded and smirked when i said hell yes,
‘I know i don’t have to worry Della, I never worry about my corporation Della, just make sure you get this account,” i could had sworn he was saying that as a threat, but i didn't pay no mind to it, I knew I was going to get this account,
