Chapter 24   Over the past few months, I've seen many sides to Ryder. I've seen him angry to the point of rage and I've seen him happy to the point of tears, but I can honestly say I've never seen him afraid. Until now. Ever since he got that phone call, he's been pacing the floor. He hasn't said anything and I'm too afraid to ask any questions, but Jake is a different story. He's been trying to get Ryder to talk for hours now, with no luck. "If you want me to help you, you have to tell me what you need me to do. I'm used to your dad barking out orders to me.
