James negotiates ammunition with Smith

The following morning Alfred and Wilson prepared to go and pick James in the forest, for him to negotiate the ammunition deal they left without informing Julius the caretaker where they were going.

"Let's inform James to come early and wait for us on the highway it's easier to pick him up there instead of picking him up in the forest" Wilson suggested.

"That is a good idea call him now," Alfred said.

Wilson called James, and James' phone rang James moved aside and received.

"Sir come to the highway we are going to pick you there please hurry sir," Wilson said.

"Okay on my way there hire a taxi that is better we will reach there early enough," James said

James ended the call he went to where henry was.

"Let me go for the ammunition deal they are coming for me tell the soldiers that am coming soon" James instructed

"OK sir nice journey I wish you a good deal," James said.

James took his five kilograms of gold placed in the bag and set off on the journey he waited for Wilson and Alfred on the highway, and he called.

Alfred received the call.

"Make sure you don't use the same taxi you used recently used a different taxi from a different place" James advised.

"Yes sir we used a different taxi we are almost there" Alfred replied.

James saw a white car approaching he held his pistol inside his coat for precaution he realized it was Alfred and Wilson.

Alfred opened his back seat James entered, and they left for Manyema reaching near Manyema they alighted and paid the taxi driver, and the driver drove off.

"Is that the place I can see the huge building over there?" James asked.

"Yes, that is the building ammunition is found" Wilson responded.

They walked past some building entered a street and went straight to the building they reached the building James was very surprised to see a lot of weapons latest mechanical ammunition.

James found ammunition is both expendable weapons bombs, missiles, grenades, land mines, and the parts of other weapons that create the effect on a target, bullets, and warheads all mechanical weapons require some form of ammunition to operate.

"Perfect!" Thunder will be having a rough time fighting us" James said

Smith came out of his office he went round to check something he moved towards James he looked at him closely.

"Soldier, James is it you?" Smith asked.

"Oh!" Smith my friend" James bellowed in disbelief

They hugged one another for sometime

"I thought you died in that mission where we were pursuing rebels where most our soldiers died," Smith said

"You were serving in a UN mission I was in government I remember" James replied.

"I quit the army to go for another mission to save my community in the hands of the militia" James explained.

"That is good to hear great news," Smith said

"There is no need to serve in the army and your home is destroyed nowhere to retire to if you are lucky enough to retire in government," James said.

"Where did you relocate, I thought you should be in your country in Europe," James asked.

"I decided to venture into ammunition business in exchange for gold since this country is rich in gold deposits and at the same time fighting," Smith said.

"Welcome let's go to my office" Smith.

They went into the office while Alfred and Wilson were still surprised how smith and James knew each other.

"I think both served in the army," Alfred said

"I guess so" Wilson responded.

"Let's talk business now what do you need in exchange for what?" Smith asked.

"I need all the ammunition required by soldiers l see you have most of the weapons," James said.

"Who do you want to fight I see you need them all" Smith asked.

"Just for protection I have lost people in my community militia invade us anytime they wish to I want to teach them a lesson," James said.

"James you are a fighter you were trained in Israel you are so professional," Smith said.

"Yes, you still remember we have come across all sorts of war but we managed to go through," James said.

"How much money do you have?" Smith asked.

"I don't have money I have this" James said.

He removed five kilograms of gold and handed it over to him.

"Let's go to your village and check how much the gold deposits," Smith said.

"Steve!" Smith called him.

Steve came hurriedly.

"Can you organize ten choppers tomorrow morning, we are going to James village to go and see the number of gold deposits, also organize all the ammunition they require, James will show you what ammunition they need and load them tomorrow in the choppers Smith instructed.

"OK sir" Steve reiterated.

Steve assembled with the help of James all the ammunition James made sure that he removed ammunition is both expendable weapons bombs, missiles, grenades, land mines, and the parts of other weapons that create the effect on target bullets, and warheads all mechanical weapons.

"We are done choosing the weapons I need to send one of my men to prepare soldiers in the forest that choppers are arriving to where they are to go back to the village," James said

He went to where Wilson and Alfred were.

"Alfred you go back to the forest and inform the soldiers to be prepared choppers will pick them" James instructed.

"Yes sir," Alfred said.

Wilson remained with James as Alfred went into the forest to inform soldiers in the forest to be prepared to board the choppers back home.

Henry saw Alfred approaching he moved towards him thinking that there was a problem

"What happened why are you alone," Henry asked.

"We have good news sir," Alfred said.

Henry relaxed and hugged Alfred.

"Thank you, sir, we successfully negotiated the ammunition choppers are coming here to take us home," Alfred said.

Henry was exhilarated and smiled, soldiers saw them approaching them they stood in a panic thinking that there is a problem that has befallen them.

"Come closer," Henry said.

All soldiers moved closer at once they sat in a semicircular and listened to Henry.

"We have great news from Alfred," Henry said.

Soldiers looked at one another in surprise.

We negotiated the ammunition successfully, "James met a white man who worked together in the army before he resigned, and he got a good deal we have already secured ammunition, and the white man organized ten choppers to take us back to our village" Alfred said.

The soldiers clapped their hands happily, and Henry smiled.

"In addition to that the white man has promised to build schools and hospitals for our community" Alfred added

"We are going to see our family very soon," One of the soldiers said.

"Yes tomorrow that is the end of our suffering we will see our families and friends tomorrow" Alfred reiterated.

"Get all your belonging not forgetting weapons ready by the time choppers are here we are good to board the choppers," Henry said.

Soldiers put everything in place ready for the journey the following morning.

Smith was happy to have met his former colleague in the army, he knew what James liked, wine and women, he took him to his well-secured mansion he prepared his wine and a beautiful lady to enjoy until dawn

"Here is my bungalow where I spent time when am not at work," Smith said.

James looked around it was a well-secured place well trained commandos move around heavily armed with surveillance cameras.

"I see you are damn rich how did you get this wealth we were just servicemen in the military" James asked.

"Business is good though it illegal it pays very much I am now exploiting people they exploited us in government then," Smith said.

Smith took him around the mansion there was a swimming pool and ladies in costumes swimming around the swimming pool there were tables on the tables with different brands of wine.

"This mansion is a million dollars Worth," James said.

"Life is wonderful when you have Money you can buy anything they say money moves a mountain" Smith reiterated.

"Welcome to my empire," smith said

They went inside the house and went up to the first floor and to the second floor James was surprised he saw fifty choppers on the second floor

"You mean all this is yours?" James asked.

"Yes, Sir these are my choppers I use for the business travel I don't use the same chopper every day it's day with its chopper" Smith responded.

Wilson looked at James in surprise smith took them to their room, and everyone in his room, Wilson showed his room first, it was a well-furnished room self contain with a beautiful lady inside ready to serve food or anything he require he could send her.

James was taken to his room he saw his favorite upper valley wine on the table he was very happy since it was a long time since he took the wine.

"Tomorrow at eight am we will fly to your village with your soldiers hope they are ready?" smith asked

"I have already informed them," James said.

"Sally takes care of my visitor, if he requires anything please may I know," Smith said.

"Yes, Sir don't worry l will" sally responded.

Smith left James sat.

"Sir what do you need?" Sally asked.

"I need food am hungry" James responded.

Sally served food for him James ate as he watched television, there was breaking news where Jacob the thunder invaded a village killed everyone, and took everything.

Sir why are you shocked and you stopped eating" sally asked

"Shocking news Jacob is causing a lot of problems in our country he must be stopped," James said

"So sad that is why am here he killed everybody in my village I escaped narrowly," Sally said

"We need a lasting solution we need to fight him," James said

"How?" With corruption in government, also with external interference, if our country lives in peace they will not get minerals in our country they use the militia to cause mayhem and easily access our gold mines in the process" Sally said bitterly.

"If you do your investigation you will find that they have taken their valuable resources" Sally added
