Chapter 1
"I thought you would search for me as you promised," I said to myself, hiding in a tree gazing at the man who I knew promised to find me after years that we will be apart from each other, he's with someone riding in a carousel and clinging into each other. I breathe heavily and tears just run down my eyes, as the carousel headed nearby my spot, I immediately rushed away so that he couldn't notice my presence.
I ran away while hardly breathing as tears started to fall from my eyes.
I went to the spot where he promised me 4 years ago and cried heavily.
I waited long for you to come back but felt like my waiting seemed meaningless now...
Don't you remember me?
Don't you remember the promise you left with me?
I sat on the bench that was near me and wiped my tears away, I felt that my heart's being struck by a needle, I felt that I dive into the ocean believing that you would save me yet you let me succumbed deep in the waters until I ran out of breathing, I ran out of air and my lungs started to fail me. I felt that anytime soon the ocean would drag me down to death, would you dive and save me or you'll be good even if you won't? I saw you dive into the ocean yet I'm being dragged by the sea unto the void, I reached my arms to you but you're so far from me to reach you. My consciousness faze and few seconds then made me completely senseless, I don't know what's happening now, will you save me, Liam? Will you be able to reach me before it's too late? I don't know but I hoped you do.

The alarm clock rang loudly.
I opened my eyes immediately as I heard the loud alarm rang and was shocked and almost succumbed out of breath like I've been drowning in the deepest part of the ocean.
I sighed.
"It was all a dream Leina, calm yourself," I said to myself.
I immediately stood from my bed and fixed it before going to the kitchen sink and brushed my teeth. My mom was busy preparing breakfast while my dad's fixing himself and was sitting on the kitchen table's seat.
I immediately finished brushing my teeth and gargled, smiled on the mirror to flex my beautiful face, blinking my dark brown eyes, then touching my perfect nose, while admiring my beautiful red lips and later swayed my long wavy hair, combed it, and took my hair tie to fix myself before going to the kitchen's table to eat breakfast.
It was another beautiful sunny day. I took my breakfast happily as I enjoyed the day, I did forget my dream immediately since I woke up from having that nightmare.
After eating, I went to the shower and took a quick bath, fixed myself, and wore my school uniform.
After preparing myself, I took my bag and immediately went to my mom to kiss her goodbye, my dad leave the house earlier so I didn't get to say goodbye.
I waved happily to my mom as I am going to have a ride on the train that's about to stop near our place. Few minutes of travel, and it stopped at the school I'm enrolled with, and happily woke out of the vehicle with other students walking to get outside the train.
"This is the day," I said to myself as I stepped into the university, It was my first day as a college student in my first year taking a course that suits me well which education, my dreame is to become a teacher someday and honestly I loved history, so I took education course major in history subject.
I entered the academy and passed through the entrance gate.
Just the guard greeted me.
"Where is your I.D?" The strict lady guard said to me.
"Oh, I forgot to wear it, I put it inside my bag," I replied, and immediately opened my bag to look for my I.D.
Notebooks, pencil, make-up kit, my hygiene kit, and phone.
I did search my bag thoroughly but found that my school I.D's missing, and remembered that I forgot to put it inside my bag earlier.
I sighed, "Oh, I forgot to bring my I.D" and laughs awkwardly.
"Well, you can skip the thrill there, you can just sign in the logbook for now sweetie, just bring your I.D tomorrow okay." The lady guard said.
I then realized not to judge a book by its cover since that day because of the lady guard's attitude, she posed as what her job wanted her to be but doesn't hinder her real character as an understanding person.
I sighed feeling relieved about the situation and immediately signed the logbook the lady guard suggested I should sign with than going back home and fetch my I.D.
I happily signed and after I'm done, I immediately waved goodbye to the lady guard and entered the university.
I walked fast to reach the 1st year college sector of one of the school's 3-Storey buildings and search for my classroom.
I was busy looking for my room just then I felt some odd and cold breeze of air enveloped my body, I immediately turn my head in the direction from which the air was from and saw someone from afar. He is dark skin toned, a handsome man much likely a year older than me, he was sitting on a bench.
I didn't recognize him but felt like I knew him, my vibes turned grey, and felt that I'm gloomy. I just shook myself out of the blue and continued searching for my classroom.
Coincidentally, I found my classroom and the bell rang loudly.
I immeditaley took the other seat nearby the window, and since I couldn't have any choice but to choose from the two remaining vacant seats that were next to each other.
I fixed myself and settled in my desk, while wearing my hair tie to make myself comfortable cause the area's a bit hot or I am just sweating badly from roaming around the campus searching for my class's room where in fact, it was just nearby the univeristy's gate that I missed checking earlier.
Just a minute after I settled down, one of our late classmates entered the room walking so chill since the professor wasn't in our room yet.
I didn't get the will to check for his face the time he entered the room.
He then sat to the only vacant seat which was next to my left side, and settled himself.
His pleasant smell captivated me, and that through his sweet and cold perfume, It feels like something's comforting me but at the same time, something's degrading my happy mood little by little, felt like a warm touch that I thought I've been longing for years suddenly came over right by my side than having me seek for it myself.
I turn my head to the left and see who was the person... and yes, he is the gentlemen I happen to gaze over earlier, he's so handsome, cool and vibrant, the perfect view I gazed over with my beautiful charming eyes, he easily stole my heart and made time freeze for a few moment.
