Julia Locke POV: I kicked off my heels as I walked through the front door of my house. As I walked to my living room, I pulled out the ties holding my braid together to let my hair unwind as I flopped down on my sofa. I lay there gazing up at my ceiling feeling … not right. And that troubled me because I should have felt excellent. I had fed twice this evening, taking enough blood to sustain me for days.
