Cooper did not want to leave. He wanted to sort out this issue. He did not want to give Dorah that victory. He wanted to fix things with Juliana and go right ahead with the wedding.
"Dorah blackmailed me. She has been in love with me for so long but I did not know about that. She never wanted us to be together and that is why she is going this," Cooper tried to explain himself to her.
