“First stop, Ollie’s place,” Mason said when they were on the road through town. He turned off once they passed the last of shops in what he laughingly called “the business district”, going down a road with homes on either side. He turned again onto a narrower road, and after a quarter of a mile came to a stop in front of a small, well-kept house and yard. “Sweet, like something out of a kid’s book,” Cory commented, getting a laugh from Mason in return. As Mason pulled into the driveway, Ollie appeared on the front porch. They got off the bike, removed their helmets, and went to join him, with Mason making the introductions. “So you’re going to be my new housemate, Cory. Nice to meet you.” “You, too, sir.” “Ollie, not ‘sir’. Let’s get that straight from the get-go.” Cory nodded, look
