When Gracie opened her eyes it was light again. The ringy thing had not made noise. It must still be the short time when Bryan stayed home with her. They could go to Dog Park again. She waited until Bryan opened his eyes and then started to play the fall down - roll around game. Bryan laughed and called her a silly beagle. Then he pulled her close and told her he loved her. That made her happy and all the more determined to make him happy as well. After they ate and were on their way out, Gracie let Bryan know she wanted to go to Dog Park by pulling him toward the place where the cars were again. Bryan knelt down and stroked her head. “I’m sorry, little girl, we can’t go to the dog park today. It’s raining cats and dogs.” Gracie didn’t understand any of what he said but “cats and dogs.”
