Ruki left (y/n) to be for a while, sighing and taking another sip of his tea and reading his usual book. Moments later he decided to go to her room and sort things out with her. He had made a bowl of (favorite soup) and started walking upstairs towards (y/n's) room. She then heard a knock on her room door.
"It's Ruki... I know you might still be mad at me, but Please open the door, I need to talk to you about something, I guess you could say important." He said through the door.
(Y/n) debated just telling him to leave, but found her curiosity getting the better of her. With a heavy sigh, she went to the door, reluctantly opening it up. Her gaze went between him and the soup, slowly taking it from him, placing it on the desk before sitting down, taking a few sips within it. ".. What is it?" She questioned him, her (e/c) eyes a bit swollen from her own tears, yet still a bit harsh as she looked at him. He sits down on a chair beside her then said,
"Look... Even if you may still be mad at me, I wanted to, apologize for not telling you the exact truth. I was afraid that you would be terrified if you knew the real truth about why you are here in this mansion at the first place." He was only trying to protect her at first then realized she was smarter than to believe his lie, so he decided to apologize to her and tell her the truth. He felt like that it was the right time to do so.
"And you think it would be better to lie? That only makes people more afraid when the truth comes out," (y/n) told him, a chastising tone to her voice, her gaze hesitantly pulling up to look at him. "The truth.. It can be scary, but.. There are ways, to recover from it. You can't get past lies. It's impossible."
"You are certainly correct..." Ruki looked away partially. "Trust me, I've believed lies and told quite a few before and I still can't seem recover most of them..." A moment of silence swept the room for a while.
