Over the next week, Prince James had managed to spare a few hours to step outside into his "freedom" as that was what he called it. Every time he would step outside, he'd male it a point to alert Tessa, just in case something was to happen. And every time the young maiden would stand beside the Princess, masking her anxiety with a calm and a cool face, keeping the Princess occupied with the littlest things.
Even though Cordelia noticed her strange behavior, she decided to not question it.
While Tessa shook with worry, Prince James strolled around with excitement that he had never had the chance to feel. James knew that he wouldn't be able to continue his little adventures for long. His little rebellion would soon end. He knew it, yet he never acted upon it.
