Robert looks terrible, and I can see the hurt in his eyes, but I don’t know what to do.
"Let’s go," Adrian says, trying to pull me along with him, but I stop him.
"No, Adrian. I didn’t come with you."
"The guy you came with can’t take care of you," he says.
"I’m not coming with you, Adrian. Let me go," I tell him, but he doesn’t budge.
"You’re drunk, Pretty Face. What if you do something stupid with him? I don’t want you to have s*x with him."
What the hell?
I can’t believe he thinks that. So the reason he’s dragging me with him is because he assumes I’ll sleep with Robert. I’m furious, and before I can stop myself, my hand connects with his cheek in a hard slap.
"Don’t ever disrespect me like that again," I say angrily, and I walk over to Robert, taking his hand.
