Today I woke up smiling.
In all fairness, I've been doing that a lot lately, waking up with a blissful smile on my face, and it's all thanks to Jacob, and the little (and not so little) things he did for me. But today still takes the cake and that is because I woke up having a full name.
I grin as I look at myself in the full length mirror that decorates my wardrobe. Today is the first day I woke up as Olivia Kama. Yesterday my ID was finally ready, and now I have everything a normal person has, including a brand new birth certificate. I don't know how or why, but I just knew my birthday is May the 27th, I knew almost everything I needed to write on the ID forms, except for my surname.
