Chapter 5Castille hadn’t been joking. Harvey lost count of the times they made love until even he was too exhausted to do more. Then they simply lay entwined while Harvey slept. It was close to dawn before he stirred.
He gazed at Castille, whose eyes were wide open as they slowly focused on him, and the vampire smiled.
“If you want me to walk you home, now’s a good time to go.” Castille slid on top of Harvey and kissed him. “I have no trouble being out in this level of daylight, but prefer to avoid the full light of day. Some of us are more sensitive to its rays than others.”
“I don’t want you taking any risks.” Harvey wrapped his arms tight around Castille’s waist, earning a soft kiss as a reward. “Now’s fine.”
