ELIK
It was almost ten in the evening when I arrived back at the palace, feeling so light as if floating in the clouds, feeling the happiest in years. Finally, Klaud expressed her true feelings, which sealed everything between us. She was ready to take a leap of faith and stand by me while I fought for our future.
The aftertaste of the kiss we shared still lingered on my lips. Each time I kissed her, I was left wanting more. I couldn't wait for the time we could be together–an extension of one another in the purest form–like a soul that recognizes another soul.
Everything might be happening faster than normal, but it was perfect. I wouldn't have it another way. I was looking forward to spending my whole life with her and I wanted it to happen soon.
