CHAPTER TWENTY
Stella arrived at Graham Haddow’s house feeling upset and conflicted. She was angry with herself for having missed such important details in a witness’s version. And furious at herself for being too trusting. Climbing out of the car, she berated herself because she perceived this as a personal weakness that could have compromised this case.
She had seen Graham as a father figure and had automatically disbelieved he could be a suspect in this terrible crime.
Now, his lies and flawed behavior were uncovered, and she had some hard questions for him. If he didn’t provide her with good enough answers, Stella decided she was going to bring him in.
