It was evening already. Ballister still hadn’t left his room. He had ordered Kade to take care of the pile of paperwork that sat on his table for him. He still couldn’t help it but his thoughts were filled with nothing but Edith. Her soft skin in his hand, her little moans that filled his ears like soft lullabies. He wanted to get rid of the unwanted thoughts from his head when Gwen had walked into his room but she irritated him.
She didn’t feel right. It was as if he was doing something illegal as if touching her burned his skin. And f**k! That was the most awful kiss he had ever had in history, one that he was sure he wasn’t going to repeat again.
A knock sounded on the door followed by a voice, “B?” Taylor called. Ballister sighed.
